Supermassive Games revealed that they require more time to finalize the development of Little Nightmares III, leading to the postponement of the release of this cooperative adventure until 2025. The studio plans to share more details about the game in the summer of 2024, possibly during one of the June presentations. While the first two games were single-player, Little Nightmares III will feature a cooperative mode. In solo play, the companion character will remain in the story and be controlled by AI.
